A new beginning starts with support.
Built on the belief that recovery and reentry are possible when people have a safe place, real support, and a community that believes in them.
Our Mission
To provide a safe place and a believing community for people affected by homelessness, addiction, trauma, and incarceration — and to walk with them toward stability, recovery, and independence.
Our Vision
A community where no one is defined by their hardest moments, and where every person has the support, skills, and opportunity to begin again.
Our Approach
We meet people where they are. Through safe housing, recovery support, mentorship, life skills, and practical resources, we help people build the foundation for lasting change — at their own pace.
People rebuilding their lives
AAC serves people in the Los Angeles area affected by homelessness, addiction, trauma, and incarceration. Our work emphasizes recovery, self-awareness, family reunification, life skills, and stability. We walk alongside each person at their own pace — without judgment and without giving up.

Rochelle Johnson
Founder & CEO
Born and raised in Compton, Rochelle Johnson knows firsthand what it means to start over. She has lived through substance use and incarceration — experiences that could have defined her, but instead became the foundation of her calling.
Through her own recovery and reentry, Rochelle experienced both the gaps in support and the life-changing power of having someone believe in you. That lived experience is why AAC exists: to be the safe place and the believing community she once needed.
Today, Rochelle leads AAC with a simple conviction — that change is possible for anyone, and that no one should have to walk the path alone. Her work supporting others through safe housing, recovery connections, and entrepreneurship is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves a chance to begin again.
The journey of real change
Just like metamorphosis, lasting recovery takes patience, shelter, resilience, and dedicated care. At All About Change, we provide the safe cocoon and community where people can break free from past adversity and emerge into purpose, dignity, and independence.

Guided by lived experience
AAC is led by Rochelle Johnson, Founder & CEO, with the support of a dedicated board.
