Shanon Belle
President
Shanon Belle is from San Diego, CA. She graduated from Spelman College with a B.S. in Chemistry in 2008. She works as a flight attendant for Southwest Airlines and currently serves as President of the NAASC, Los Angeles Chapter.
One of her primary goals is to ensure that students of color have access to quality and affordable education.
Tamika Brady
Vice President
Tamika Brady is a business consultant with over 15 combined years of experience working in real estate, technology, and sales.
She currently resides in Los Angeles and works for a technology and telecommunications company within their global real estate department as a portfolio manager and strategic market planner.
Tamika graduated from Spelman College in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and MBA from Pepperdine University in 2020.
In addition to her work, Tamika is the proud mother to her son Caleb and enjoys being an active member of the PTA where she serves as the co-chair of the literacy committee.
She enjoys volunteering, promoting academic excellence, and encourages college education. Tamika is passionate about uplifting the next generation and believes education is the key to success.
Dr. Jordan Greer
Treasurer
A native of Los Angeles, Dr. Jordan Greer (C’ 2012) previously served as the Student Relationship Chair from 2020-2022.
As the Associate Director at USC Race and Equity Center, she engages education practitioners in meaningful conversations about racial equity and seeks to co-develop real-world solutions that ensure the success of racially minoritized students in post-secondary education.
As the Treasurer of the NAASC-LA Chapter, Dr. Greer hopes to ensure access to all of her Spelman sisters who wish to connect through community service and sisterhood.
She currently serves the NAASC-LA chapter as Treasurer.
Andrea Mills
Financial Secretary
Andrea V. Mills graduated in 1976 from Spelman College – an Economics major. She earned a master’s degree, Applied Economics, from University of Michigan in 1979.
Upon returning to CA, she became an active NAASC-LA member in 1981. Since then, Andrea has served as corresponding, financial and recording secretary, chaplain, and recruitment (college fair) coordinator, and on committees.
A retired budget analyst (35 years, City of Los Angeles), she enjoys volunteering with church and community organizations.
Tobi SHannon
Recording Secretary
Tobi Shannon, C’2016, is the Recording Secretary for the Chapter. A native of NC, she was president of the Seattle-Tacoma chapter, before moving to LA to pursue an MBA & MPA.
Currently, Tobi works to dismantle the anti-Blackness that pervades our society, which includes being in community with her Spelman sisters!
